I believe that God has changed courses for my plans this coming summer. I most likely will not be going to Peru, God simply isn't calling me there right now, I would love to go there, trust me, but if it's not where God is calling me to go then I'm not going to go. I've been praying for months over God's direction for my missions this summer and I even fasted (if you know me and how much I love eating, you know only God could have got me through that day!) I still don't know all the plans He has laid out for me this summer, but I do know some of them.
This summer I will be going to Arizona, for a week long mission trip with my church. While there, my team and I will work with Native Americans on an Indian reservation about an hour from Phoenix. The trip will be from June 9-15. I am so excited to see all the amazing ways God is going to move there! This trip is definitely not a selfish one because I didn't have a desire to go there, but now I have a God given desire to serve and he has called me to serve these beautiful people and show them the true hope of Jesus Christ. I know it will be a great experience to serve a different people group and minister in different ways. I am signed up and there's no real backing out; I am so excited to see what God will teach me in Arizona! The trip cost is around $800, so please be in prayer that God would provide the money to make this trip possible.
As for the rest of the summer, I know God has great plans for me, but as of right now I don't know exactly where. I have an idea between a few places and I am still praying over his ultimate direction. Please pray over God's direction for my ministry this summer and that I would be apt and ready to follow his will.

Also, If you are thinking of getting a birthday present for me (February 8), please only give me money for my mission trips because advancing the kingdom of God is so much more important than any of my own selfish desires.
